Dameka

Dameka was the youngest of the sisters, and the most reserved, modest, and shy. I always believed that one day she would blossom and come into her own. I made this box out of curly cherry, because over time, cherry becomes deeper, richer, and more elegant. At the time I designed this, Dameka used to draw a particular style of flower. I used one of her drawings as the basis for the carved flower on top.
The box is made of curly cherry with wenge legs.
The carving came from a picture of a type of flower that Dameka used to draw.
